In a world filled with constant conflicts it’s essential to anchor ourselves in our core values.

As a Scaling Up Coaches, one of the foundational work of setting a company’s strategy and DNA is assisting clients in discovering the core values that will dictate the behavioral guideline.

However, values are not limited to corporate work.  Values are like the North Star that guides us through the darkest of nights, whether in our personal lives, our corporate endeavors, our families, or our national adherence.

🌿 Personal Values: Our personal values define who we are at the deepest level. They guide our decisions, shape our character, and influence our relationships. Personal values reflect what truly matters to us and what drives our actions and decisions.

🏢 Corporate Values: In the workplace, an organization’s values are its compass. They set the tone for company culture and guide the behavior of employees. Strong corporate values can lead to innovation, collaboration, and long-term success. It is thus crucial to align all employees on a set of constant values.
Do you respect your company’s values? Do you identify to the culture?

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Values: Family is our first introduction to values. The principles and ethics we learn at home shape the foundation of our character. Family values create strong bonds that we cherish within our family, and influence our personal and professional life.
Do you appreciate your family’s inherited values? Do you preach your own family’s values to your children?

🏳️National Values: Just as individuals have values, nations have their own set of core principles. The values of a nation are a reflection of its identity and aspirations. A nation with declining values, is a nation that is losing its identity, and thus its vision. Upholding your nation’s values contributes to its growth and prosperity.

💬 I for one, constantly strive to align these 4 sets of values.  My personal values are guiding my everyday life, my corporate principles, and my family relationships.  I totally aspire to the values of my adopted country: Freedom, Respect for cultural differences, Safety & Peace, Appreciation for Nature, Politeness.
